Just left Mike at the Time 106.6 studio and he is still going strong after 86 hours awake. He’s looking and sounding tired, but no worse than last night at around this time. He seems to bottom out around here and then start to pick up as the night goes on. I suspect he’s a bit of a ‘night owl’ by nature.

It’s embarrassing to think that I get tired and grumpy if I miss a couple of hours of beauty sleep, (I know, I know, you don’t need to say it) and this guy has gone for three nights with zero sleep.

He’s going to need a lot of support over the final few hours but I can’t see him failing now. He’s young, he’s very upbeat, and with the finishing tape just around the corner there is no way I can see him not going through that tape at 2:00 tomorrow afternoon.
