Day three and we reach the half way mark

Unbelievable as it may sound, Mike is in better form today than he was yesterday. Mind, I wouldn’t like him to perform brain surgery on me, but I would just about let him wash my car. 

We calculated that at 10:30 this evening he will have reached the half way mark; a big psychological milestone since from here on in he is definitely within sight of his goal.

Another booster will be that having got thus far he will have banished any doubts that he had when he started that he would be able to make it. We all doubt our own abilities regardless of how upbeat we are; doubly so for something we have never done before. But to have reached this point is a massive achievement and will have kicked those fears of failure right into touch.

Now, if we can keep him motivated over the last few hours there is no way he can fail to make it. His attitude is good, his spirits are way up, and he is in good physical shape.
