Marathon Man Day 2

Went to the Observatory to continue the photo-diary of Mike “Marathon Man” Russell. I must say he looked in pretty good shape for having gone without sleep for the night.

The next few days are going to be the hardest as slowly he goes downhill with no end in sight. If he can make it through to Friday I think he has a damn good chance of making it. When the finishing tape is in sight it is amazing the hidden reserves that can be drawn on.

He is getting superb support from the public which is having an uplifting effect on his spirits. Hopefully this will grow as more and more people start taking an interest.
