My Blog
Just recovered from the very pleasant shock of hearing from a girl I lost touch with many years ago.

A couple of days ago I had an email pop up from Facebook. It was a simple question:
Are you the Chris Mower who was in Saudi Arabia in the early 70s, living in RX compound just outside Riyadh?
Looks like you, so - if so- how are you doing? How did life pan out for you?
Kathy
It was a complete shock as I had often thought about Kathy in the intervening years, but despite several attempts I could never track her down. This was most likely because she got married and changed her name. Girlies do that and it tends to make finding someone a tad difficult when they do that.
It was so nice to catch up with the news, and to find that she is doing well. And would you believe it, but she had been living not more than a dozen miles away from here for the past 20 years or so.
A lot of good memories came flooding back about the times we had, the people, the escapades. It was possibly one of the happiest times of my life back then. Lots of money, good friends, no cares, sex, drugs and rock and roll, the whole enchilada.
We never know when we are well off do we. I don’t think life was ever so simple again. I’m just going to put on Ziggy Stardust and step into the time machine.
